RCenter Program
Collaboration & Partnerships
Collaborations and Partnerships aim to support a culture of multidisciplinary collaboration within MSM departments, centers, institutes, and other external research partnerships.
Community Based Research
To formulate a multidisciplinary research team, inclusive of the Bioinformatics Unit, that will position community-based physicians to fashion collaborations, utilize cutting-edge technology through EMR, and build a community model for accomplishing research within the community that effect its health.
Evaluation & Tracking
This unit serves and supports the component areas of the R-CENTER by addressing the timely performance and successful accomplishment of all of the specific aims for each of the program areas.
Governance & Organizational Structure
Over the past decade, MSM has established a nationally recognized track record of success in training minority investigators through its pipeline programs beginning at the middle school level and extending to the undergraduate level as well as our graduate programs.
Participant & Clinical Interactions
The Participant and Clinical Interactions Resources (PCIR) serves the clinical and translational research needs of a broad spectrum of investigators across campus by providing a comprehensive support with its various core resources and facilities
Regulatory Knowledge
The regulatory unit activities serve to ensure that establishment of new processes and procedures associated with human subjects research are in line with current regulations. Increased investigator and staff training at the institution will result in greater protections for participants in research studies.
Technology & Resources
The goal of the Technologies and Resources for Core Laboratories is to develop an organizational and financial frame work, as well as, physical and human resources for the new Translational Technologies Program.
