Aim 1:

Support novel hypothesis driven research between investigators in MSM Multidisciplinary research clusters and ACTSI investigators at partner institutions. R-CENTER initiative- Social networking communication tools on the R-CENTER web portal will link MSM investigators to their ACTSI colleagues at Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Kaiser Permanente.

Aim 2:

Support bidirectional research translation to and from the community with an up-to-date inventory of research resources and expertise within MSM and affiliated community groups including clinical research networks and community partnerships (churches, barber shops, media outlets etc). R-CENTER initiative-This Specific Aim acknowledges MSM's recognized expertise and ongoing investment in community engagement, and the opportunity to use innovative R-CENTER collaborative tools to integrate community engagement across the R-CENTER key functions.

Aim 3:

Facilitate new collaborations and synergies with the RCMI Translational Research Network (RTRN) consortium. R-CENTER initiative-The R-CENTER web portal will interface with the RTRN Data Technology and Coordinating Center (DTCC) thereby supporting seamless integration, and collaboration with investigators in the RCMI consortium and the DTCC. Implement in concert with the RCMI G-12, the R-CENTER key functions(biomedical informatics, clinical interactions, training and career development) and the ACTSI community engagement research program.
