
Jan Morgan-Billingslea is a highly accomplished professional with a career spanning three decades in scientific research and military service. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Clinical Trials at the Clinical Research Center of Morehouse School of Medicine, a position she has held since July 2022. Jan brings 14 years of experience in laboratory investigation, grounded in her work within the Department of Physiology at Morehouse School of Medicine and her research in Molecular Genetics at Morehouse College. Her clinical research career at Morehouse School of Medicine began in March 2000, where she has held progressive roles including Research Assistant, Clinical Research Coordinator, and Clinical Trials Manager.
In addition to her civilian contributions, Jan served in the Georgia Army National Guard for 21 years, rising through the ranks to hold leadership positions, including Task Force Medical Operations Officer during her deployment to Camp Phoenix, Afghanistan. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oklahoma State University and continues to advance clinical research and operational excellence through her leadership and expertise.
