Jarmarkus Watson Originally hailing from the Mississippi Delta, Jarmarkus Watson completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Mississippi where he double majored in Biology and African American Studies. He was able to align his interests in science and community health by pursuing a Master’s in Public Health degree at Morehouse School of Medicine. Turning theory into praxis, he served in various capacities within the nonprofit sector, furthering the mission of health equity for all. Jarmarkus joined the NIH FIRST Coordination and Evaluation Center at Morehouse School of Medicine in December 2023. He now serves as the Georgia CTSA Program Coordinator for the institution.
