
Dr. Pamel Daniels serves as Associate Director and Epidemiologist/Sociologist of the Research Design and Biostatistics (RDB) Core and co-Director of the Georgia CTSA Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Core. With over two decades of experience in health disparities and health equity research, Dr. Daniels specializes in interdisciplinary collaboration, research infrastructure development, and community-engaged methodologies. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the RDB Core and mentors investigators at all career stages in research design, biostatistics, data collection, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Her work focuses on identifying and addressing variations in healthcare quality across race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status, and on implementing evidence-based interventions to reduce inequities.
