Dr. Saadia Khizer currently serves as the Interim Director of the Clinical Trials Office and Clinic Unit Director of the Vaccine Trial Unit within the Clinical Research Center at Morehouse School of Medicine. In these roles, she provides comprehensive oversight of clinical trial operations, including clinic workflow, regulatory compliance, IRB submissions, data management, strategic planning, ethical research conduct, and coordination with sponsors and collaborators.

Dr. Khizer has extensive experience in training and mentoring research coordinators and regularly teaches courses in Research Ethics. She has led the development and implementation of workflow protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support effective training, operational efficiency, and high-quality research outcomes.

She has played a key role in community-engaged research through her work with Georgia CEAL, collaborating with community partners to address health disparities during the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing efforts focused on vaccine hesitancy and diabetes prevention.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Khizer enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is an active member of the Pakistani physician community in the United States and maintains strong professional ties with colleagues in Pakistan.
