Center of Excellence for the Validation of Digital Health Technologies and Clinical Algorithms

Mission and Program. The mission of the Research Center on Data Standards for Validation of Health Technologies and Algorithms shall be to evaluate existing health data standards that drive diagnosis, clinical trial endpoints and population health policy to improve accuracy and health outcomes for Black/African American communities and other communities of color in the United States through associated medical diagnostic tools, algorithms, and artificial intelligence/machine learning programs. In alignment with the multi-partner Data Standards Workstream of the Beacon of Hope Collaboration, the Center shall agree to milestones and Key Performance Indicators (as initially defined in Section III.D) to be regularly tracked, and transparently reported to gage effectiveness of this Grant, and trigger subsequent payments. These milestones may be expanded upon through the co-creation discussions within the Workstream, with MSM and the Foundation mutually agreeing to any changes for tracking and reporting in the scope of this Grant.
