Dr. Taylor received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University, and went to medical school at the University of Florida. Along with primary care sports medicine, Dr. Taylor also has a passion for physician wellness through financial literacy. Prior to her career in medicine, she worked in health policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities in Washington, DC and also spent time working in finance. She now serves as a physician advocate helping doctors to achieve financial wellness. Dr. Taylor has written hundreds of blogs and taught numerous workshops to physician groups across the country on a variety of financial topics including student loans, investing, homeownership, contract review, etc.
When she is not practicing medicine or teaching financial literacy, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves going to sporting events, music concerts, and trying food at different restaurants. She has traveled to over 10 different countries and enjoys exploring new cultures. She also likes going to the beach in her hometown of Pensacola, Florida and spending time with her niece and nephew here in Atlanta. We are excited to have Dr. Taylor join the Morehouse family!
